Mr. Simms,

We recently received your request (forwarded by Vern Dernberger) for a
review of the scores recorded on your behalf for the 1st Monkton
Crusade. We take all such inquiries seriously and have performed a
complete investigation of the related battlefield activities. Our
findings are listed below for each of your issues.

After an extensive review of the score sheets, we have determined that
the 2 hits on the Flak88 recorded for you were justified for Battle #1
(not Battle #2 as your inquiry references). Although we do agree that
Marty "The Legend" Hayes has at times failed to accurately record hits
on the assets controlled by him during a battle (after all, he's over
120 years old), in this case, the hits recorded add up to the necessary
multiple of 3 which indicate that he was killed twice during that battle.

Therefore, your Career Points Earned total of 500 pts (250 net pts)
stands as recorded. Although it took you over 2.5 years to participate
in your first battle (presumably due to your medical condition
"imafraiditus"), we are pleased to report that your first outing was a
net positive for your team.

A review of the scoresheets revealed that you and your team leader
apparently failed to properly record your participation. Although we
could disallow your participation strictly on that accounting error
alone, because of your well-documented medical condition, we conducted a
series of interviews with battlers and a thorough examination of the
available video to confirm that you were actually operating on the
battlefield.

Therefore, we have increased your Career Number of Battles from 1 to 2
as per your request, although you failed to make a difference one way or
the other. In the future, please be more accurate with your bookkeeping
to assist our overworked and underpaid scorekeeping staff.

Thank you for your participation.
