Mr. Simms,
As a staff reporter for the Tri-Pact News Service ("We Make The News")
it is true that I am assigned to many of the R/C Tank Combat events.
However, as a veteran of the 4th estate, I merely "report" on the
events, I don't participate or control the events. Therefore, you'll
need to forward your request to the controlling body of the R/C Tank
Combat club for it to be serviced.
That said, I find your allegations of score tampering to be interesting.
As you know, for a number of years I have been investigating the shady
side of the R/C Tank Combat club, where powerful organizations like the
Maryland Attack Group and underworld figures like the Pittelli Clan have
worked hard to keep their affairs secret. Undocumented allegations
abound and everytime this reporter gets close to the truth, a new smoke
screen appears.
In recent months, I have been looking into allegations that an elaborate
point shaving scheme is at work, in which the Maryland Attack Group
scripts an entire event (who really believes they can hold 4 battle
events per year) and then the Vegas Alliance lays off bets based on the
pre-event publicity. As you know, R/C Tank Combat betting is very
popular in Vegas these days, but few people realize that the entire
thing is completely rigged.
To your specific involvement, we now have credible evidence that you
were an unwitting dupe in the recent event. Yes, they held an actual
event this time and invited you to attend. However, we have reason to
believe that every action (except yours) was completely scripted in an
effort to hit a very long-shot bet: "Fred Simms scores a point" which
was listed at 978,225-to-1. Unnamed sources have stated that a single
bet of $1,000 was placed just two days before the event and a man in
dark sun-glasses collected the proceeds (in a cardboard box) just
minutes after the initial scores were reported.
Given your input, we now believe that the Pittelli Clan, in conjunction
with the Vegas Alliance, was responsible for placing the bet and we
believe that they also staged the entire event in order to get a payoff
in excess of $950 million.
Bless you Mr. Simms for having the courage to come forth with this
information. Although your life is certainly in danger now, the world
will be a better place knowing the truth after you're gone.
