Jim..  for my turret rotation I use a esc from an RC truck...  it can handle up to 12 volts... so no probs handling the 12volt car window motor... it is an esc so it has full proportion control forward and reverse...   good luck...  Garnet     Saskatoon SK

Jim,

Did you find the push/pull switch locally?...If not I can still pick one up here in Airdrie and mail it to you.

The electronic turret control sounds interesting, let me know how it's going(pics and description would be nice).....I'am always looking for ideas on how to build my "next" tank....

Well Grant, after much thinking,,,I decided your idea was best, being able to just push the switch in to kill power. Not that I would ever do anything to let smoke out of any components but,,,,,,,

Right now working on building the switch to control the turrent motor, was going to just use the servo and switch idea but decided to learn how to make it electronic. Only problem with it is they make those IC components so darn small.
