Steve,
I would pay around $80-100 for a good set of drive sprockets for
a sprocket driven TTS, they are something not everyone could make easily
(not me anyway). What sort of motors would these tanks have? It cost me $105
for my sprockets and chain, and $125 for two motors, bearings were off ebay
so total my transmissions (two motors and 12/1 reduction) cost me roughly
$250-$270 AUS, so I would think it wouldn't be over priced at $300-$350.

If the TTS kits came assembled it would save a lot of assembly time (and
headaches)

So let me get this straight, you would be providing a tank with no body, so
your kit could be built into a Tiger a T-34, or whatever? This means you
would have to custom make each wheel set, the Tigers wheels were nothing
like the T-34s.

Would this all be wood, plastic, metal?

I think it sounds like a good idea, makes it easier to get involved.

Chris. b
