I see that your Cromwell uses
an ANL 80amp fuse between the battery and the ESC. How did you determine
what size that fuse needed to be to protect the system? I have been
planning to use the same ESC in one of my tanks for quite sometime.
Thanks.
My
original controller design (a beefed up Anvilus system) was rated at 80A per
channel and was going to use a fuse for each channel. When I moved to the
current ESC I just used what I had in stock, the 80A ANL fuses from the previous
design. The current setup is using one 80A fuse installed before the
ESC. So far I haven't blown a fuse and if I ever do, I've got 20 more
(ANL's are cheap on eBay).
