I think it would be great! You could have scout cars (kubelwagens) with 
traversing cameras that can do all the "looking". It would also make for 
great tactics, because you could actually hide your tank, unlike if they are 
tied to a person following close behind. It would also make speed less 
crucial because if you were good enough you could just sneak up behind them. 
You would have to have someone out on the field so you know when you get 
hit. Obviously the first thing to do is hit their camera effectively making 
them "blind", they are not much good if they cant see!

I was looking on ebay a couple of days ago for a cheap camera, I concluded 
that you could most likely get one for around $50-$60. Not bad really.
