Tony,
         This hobby will only get easier for the entry level player once a 
company builds a cheap reliable paintball tank which is affordable for the 
average joe. Most of the time and hard work is in the construction. For all 
the hours I've spent building my tank it is yet to fire at another tank. But 
then again us "young guns" already have some advantages...

If you start now in ten years YOU will be a seasoned veteran. This happens 
with every hobby though, you cant take your new nitro car to the track and 
expect to beat the pros, even if your car is faster.
