Having just found the RC tank combat website I have taken a deep interest. A
couple of friends and I have been thinking about something of this nature
for a few years so it is refreshing to see other like minded crazies out
there. A few questions....
For those who have tried to use cameras in their tanks has this been
effective or is it hard to make work?
From reading battle reports it appears that people are making model tanks
that are getting close to or exceeding scale speeds. Is there any discussion
as to limit tank speeds to scale speeds? I feel that by doing this it limits
the improvement in one direction, ie speed, which enables people to
concentrate on improving other factors. This will also make the hobby easier
for the entry level player, which given the youth of the hobby is still just
about everyone but in 10 years or so there will be a number of seasoned
veterans.
So I guess the question now is for me to decide what I want to build.....
