Several years ago, I invested in a laser cutting CO2 laser for my
fabrication shop. Pricey item, but beautiful cuts in acrylic. Smooth as a
babies bottom. It requires a computer and Corel Draw. I have a 30 Watt
laser and can cut 1/4 inch acrylic.
If you are interesting in some cutting or hole drilling with a laser, I
would suggest finding a good engraving shop or fabrication shop in your area
and "make a friend". I found my "new friend" by asking for laser
fabrication sources at my acrylic distributor. I did that when I first
started out in acrylics and got some nice holes drilled and cuts for free.
The fabrication guy even showed me how to heat and bend the acrylic. Nice
for prototyping!

Hi all,
Does anybody know of a fool proof way to cut and drill
plexiglass??? I'm sick of cracking my work on the last cut or hole.
Thanks,
