So you want to build a Tyng Tranny? Use bronze as in sintered bronze (Oilite bearings). Use a 1/2" shaft and press the 1/2" bronze bushings into your 5/8" ID drive sprockets. Your drive wheels are bolted to the drive sprocket. Use another bushing on the outside of the drive wheel. Steve T.
