Figure up to 150 feet to be safe. They won't have much power at that
range, but people will still be startled if they are hit. But, instead
of trying to set up a spectator area and trying to keep clear of it, it
is best to make all spectators wear safety googles and sign a waivor.
It is too difficult, especially at your first battle, to keep track of
all vehicles, make sure nobody fires into the crowd and to keep the
crowd itself in the right place.
