Hi Boris
I used an extruded aluminium tube with a .680 ID and a .035 thickness wall.
A 12 foot section was straight as an arrow. I had a machinist friend of mine
bore out the barrel that came with my marker ( the stock barrel was crap
full of pitts and exclusions) and epoxied the new longer barrel in place. I
had to buy a full 12' section when iI bought mine so I have close to 10'
left if anyone is interested. By the way I don't know if this will help with
your customs people but the proper term for it is a paintball marker not a
gun, it is called a marker for just that reason to quell the fears of those
who know no better. Perhaps when ordering have the shipper label the package
that way and maybe it will make it through. Just a thought. Oh almost forgot
the barrel I was refering to is on Armored Car 003 and my tank is T025.Hope
this helps you out, best of luck.
Gord (the barrel is tight, straight and light) Rapson
