Ben,
We all use SLA (sealed lead acid) batteries in our tanks. You should
aim for a minimum of 17 ah, that will give you 20-30 minutes. Because your
motors are 24v you need two batteries, I would suggest going with 4, 10-12
ah batteries linked in series parallel, this gives you 20-24 ah at 24v, and
the setup is not much bigger then 2 17 ah batteries. Just a thought, I know
this is what I'll be doing in my tanks.
