Besides, using the plywood is easer than ripping all that maple (though more expensive). The 1/2" was a misprint. I'm using 1/4" thick aircraft plywood for the track pieces. "All up" that will make a 1/2" thick track plus the thickness of the treadmill belt. Steve Tyng
