There will probably be a way to do so, but you have to cut down all parts at
equal length, including the spring.
Also you need to make sure that the spring is in a fixed position at the
bottom of the outer tube to be able to wind it.
Bear in mind that you need to fill the pod with 40 rounds + the number of
rounds that will fill the hose between the socket and the marker so that
will be easy 50 - 55 round total, depending on the length of the hose. After
the spring in the pod is unwound, the amount of balls in the hose is
ineffective but you need them to pass on the spring force. Another option is
to fill the hose with balls prior to placing the qloader.
Perhaps a way to cut it is to take a piece out in the middle and reassemble
it using a PVC socket, and cut the spring in half and make a new connecting
point to it. This makes sure you don't have to alter the bottom square
fixation point for the spring retainer in the bottom of the outer pod.
