I'am kind'a new to this...it > looks like the StuG is a Tank Destroyer....is this correct?? No, it's an assault gun. It's primary purpose was infantry support. Although it did have very good AT capability. The difference was real in the Wehrmacht. The Stug was crewed by the artillery branch and the Hetzer was crewed by the panzer forces. (I will check the handbook to make sure)
