We're getting there - slowly. I've got all the road wheels on one side
installed, the sprocket in place, and the track wrapped around it all. I
figured I'd finish one side first to minimize rebuilding when I find I've
screwed it up.
I bought a pair of those so-called EV-X motors from surpluscenter.com,
and they seem pretty nice - very strong. I've just finished designing the
motor mounts/reduction gears, so getting it moving is the next step.
The battery I have turns out to be too tall to fit where I want it -
oops. Guess I need more practice with this "ruler" thingie.
