Essex Homecoming Battle [TANKS]

To All Battlers In The U.S. Mid-Atlantic Region,

The Maryland Attack Group will be hosting a battle on Saturday, June
11th at the Essex Skypark which is in the suburbs east of Baltimore (see
directions below).  Essex is the childhood hometown of the "Pittelli
Family", a notorious band of financiers and corrupt government officials
who many believe are pulling the strings throughout the R/C combat world.

The battle will be well attended by local Maryland and Pennsylvania
battlers and should be even larger than the recent St. Charles
Slaughter.  So, if you're in the area please plan on attending and join
the fun.

As part of the homecoming festivities, grilled hotdogs and brautwurst
will be provided (assuming that James E. isn't still upset over bringing
his grill without anyone bringing any food ;-(  Accordingly, if you're
planning on attending, please let me know (via private email) so I can
get an approximate head-count.

Also, please bring all of the extra masks that you may have, because
we're expecting a number of first-time spectators.  You should also
bring a cart or wagon for your gear if you have one, because parking is
about 50 yards from the battling area.  We should have a couple that
everyone can use, but it doesn't hurt to have more.

Local Directions to Essex Skypark
---------------------------------
Proceed on Baltimore Beltway (I-695) to MD-702 South to Essex.

Continue on MD-702 to Back River Neck Road.

As road narrows and starts winding through wooded area, look for sign
for Essex Skypark and turn right on Diffendall Road.

Follow gravel road to the end and park in any place available.
Battlefield is at the end of the runway on the right side of parking area.
