Hi Grant, thanks for the kind remarks, I have a choice of speed controllers that I could use;

http://www.4qd.co.uk/instrs/ncc.pdf

Or

http://www.electronize.co.uk/fr15_series.htm

I have two each of the above (left over from previous projects)

For the 4qd ncc 70, I will use the following RC interface and mixer

http://www.technobots.co.uk/en-gb/dept_276.html

The great thing about the 4qd is that it can run at 36V, I will post more info, when I have tried the different options.

Hi Billy,

Great pictures.  What a coincidence....I'am using the same track system,

wheels, motors and batteries in my Hetzer.  I'am  not quite as far along as

you are(I haven't completed the tracks or the gearing from the motors to the

drive wheels). I'am planning on using 24 VDC and an Anvilus SSR relay

proportional speed controller.  How are you controlling your motors?

What a great opportunity to learn from your experience.  Any hints or tips

to a "newbie" would be appreciated.  Oh, by the way whee are you located?

Your tank looks good and if I understand correctly,  as soon as your tank

moves under its own power you are eligable to receive a tank designation.
