No worries. If electric motors can move a locomotive and a few hundred
tons of freight, they can move your T-34. It's only a question of
finding the right motors. :-)
I was planning on using a gas engine to run an air compressor (for the
guns) and to charge the batteries.
If you want to forego the electric motors and go straight gas, you'll
need a transmission. Much more complicated, and probably not worth the
effort. Better to use the gas engine to drive a pump that powers
hydraulic motors (the guy up in Aberdeen that built the big StuG III did
it this way).
