I made this table-saw jig to cut out my wheels with minimal danger to my

digits... It clamps directly onto the saw's rip-fence so it is easily 
adjustable to cut different sized wheels.

  IMHO, it's far safer than the method described by Tyng and others on
the 
website, it only requires a small amount of patience and self-discipline
to 
fully retract the blade and wait for it to stop turning when changing
wheel 
blanks.  A dust mask and glasses are also good ideas.
