The hull will be made from aluminum and the rest from plywood so I think
it will be quite enough strength in that.
I will use the same layout you have in your tank for the motors , as for
the rest of the stuff that will go into the hull I think I will manage
to squeeze in with some brute force and lube.

As you pointed out it is a small tank but it will be a quick little
bugger and kick some *** with the fat ones and run off before they can
hit it.

The Hetzer is a great tank to build for RC Tank Combat.
It does not require a turret and only needs four road
wheels per side.  In battle, it is a small target and
usually scares other tankers because of the head-on
tactics that it uses.  It is a knife-fighter, not a long range
sniper.

The only drawback is the short narrow hull.  You must
be careful when you plan how to fit motors, batteries,
controller, gun and CO2 bottle into that small space.

One last note about construction.  I do not recommend
using plastic for the lower part of the hull.  Plastic is
OK for the upper hull.  I have many structural cracks
in the lower hull of my Hetzer and had to reinforce with
aluminum in many places.

Real men don't need turrets.  Ask Will #T026, Paul #T027
(in England) and Marc #T035 (in Holland).
