Regrets for my delay in replying to your note. My
Internet provider has been down for several days.

It would be great to have another Hetzer. I have provided
several files to help Hetzer builders at

general specifications - full size and 1/6 scale

list of components and costs

scale dimensions and working drawings

The Hetzer is a great tank to build for RC Tank Combat.
It does not require a turret and only needs four road
wheels per side. In battle, it is a small target and
usually scares other tankers because of the head-on
tactics that it uses. It is a knife-fighter, not a long range
sniper.

The only drawback is the short narrow hull. You must
be careful when you plan how to fit motors, batteries,
controller, gun and CO2 bottle into that small space.

One last note about construction. I do not recommend
using plastic for the lower part of the hull. Plastic is
OK for the upper hull. I have many structural cracks
in the lower hull of my Hetzer and had to reinforce with
aluminum in many places.

Real men don't need turrets. Ask Will #T026, Paul #T027
(in England) and Marc #T035 (in Holland).

Best wishes,
Joe
