Close, but not quite. That's a CJ6 (Chinese-built Yak-18, modern primary 
trainer); I was referring to a Yak-9 (WW2 fighter, kinda-like a Russian 
Spitfire: http://www.russianaeros.com/Yakphoto.htm ).

IIRC, there's a gent running around the airshow circuit that took a CJ6 
and shortened it, making it look like an La-7
