Oh no, thanks alot man. And thanks for the info on some other differences.
Since I have no paintball experiance, I guess I'm going to take the time to
design and build my own marker. I already have some ideas for modifications
based on what you've said (And my idea on how to make it).
Hehehe.. my barrel is going to be closer to 30-32 inches though..so I'm
definatly expecting some sweet accuracy.

John,
My home made marker performs surprisingly well. Luckily for you I've been
playing paintball heaps lately :-) and had some chances to test the
comercial markers abit.

Firstly the range, A comercial marker has about the same range (About 60
meters) as my home made one however I have found that the homemade one has
much better acuracy over that distance. I think it's because my homemade one
has a much longer barrel (25"!! compared to 9") and because the
force behind the paintball is much less and doesn't cause it to stray so
much near the end of it's flight.

Next power, the power of the homemade one is not as great as the commercial
marker. I've noticed that the comercial marker breaks almost every ball.
Where as the homemade one only breaks on solid hits and just bounce of at
anything other than 90 degrees to the tank. But if you increase the psi you
would get better results or you could add a resticter ring (Black O' ring)
inside the barrel that causes pressure to build up behind the ball.

Rate of fire, this is where the commercial marker absolutly slaghters the
homemade one. Commercial markers can fire as fast as you can load them. My
homemade one can only fire every 5 seconds!:-(. You can increase the rate of
fire by using Co2 instead of a compressor or makeing the compression chamber
smaller.

If there is anything else you want to know I will be happy to help you out.
For my stug I'm going to make another one alot better and maybe even a how
to section if Frank agrees and if it's good enough.
I would send some pictures of my rebuilt tiger gun but my cameras sick :-(
