Many of you may know about the 21st Century Toys' 1:6 scale M5 Stuart light
tank… and incredible deal, goes for about $150 at WalMart… big, good base
for scale detailing (better than, say, the HobbyZone Abrams), and has a
basic r/c system with neat sound effects.
There's a Yahoo Group dedicated to these things:

Well, someone there posted this site, which seems to show 21st C.'s brochure
for the NY toy fair. One page mentions a 1:9 (no typo!) r/c Abrams.

If & when this comes out (financial issues have been rumored about 21st C.),
expect an on/off control system for the tracks, turning turret but no
elevation, and a working suspension with hard plastic tracks with
independent links.
They also show a 1:6 Humvee, could be fun!

I was at the NYC Toy Fair today. Spoke with 21St Century Toys. They
didn't have one on display, but I spoke with the fine folks there about it.
The Abrams should retail for about the same price as the M5. It will have
gun elevation and depression!
