I've been designing a remote control tank for maybe ten years now in my head, but never thought to put a paint ball gun inside. I just discovered this site a few weeks ago and I am completely infatuated with the concept. I'm planning to construct either a challenger 2 or a Leopard 2 out of wood and fiberglass. It will be equipped with two 600 watt 24 volt motors and two deep cycle marine batterys. The controls will be custom H-bridge good for 50 amps continuous and it will have a bypass contactor. I've been looking at the different types of track systems you guys have been using on your tanks this week and was surprised that no one had come up with the track design I had originally thought of. I want to take multiple 4"x4" or 3"x3" hinges and bolt them together to make a track. What do you guys think.
