Hi, one of the problems I had when using the wiper motors was searching
around junkyards to find a matching left and right handed pair, but I did
find a few as most manufactures seem to use a few common makes.

Regarding wiper motors or anything else untried.
IMHO I think using a couple of wiper motors would make a great
experiment, especially if they were over volted to 18 or 24 volts. If
in your gut you think you could make it work go for it. Anything new in
this hobby requires a leap-of-faith. Remember, If you can make it work
you get to name it whatever you want!
