I am not saying the seat motors don't/won't work but the thought was to 
only employ constant duty motors as drive motors as they are built to run 
longer ? better brushes and heat dissipation etc

eg use wipers , radiator fans and not window motors , seat motors etc

But I have no experience with this , your choice for you application is 
sound though ?

Just tryng to save someone from disappointment
