A lot fewer 49mhz versions were imported. Gonna be hard to
find. The 49mhz version also uses a completely different receiver (rf
& decoder stage) than the 27mhz version.
Good
luck.

Subject: Need 49mhz Stuart
Radio for the sandbox [TANKS]
The
21st Century Stuart came in 27 mhz and 49mhz versions (the 49mhz was camo and
said "jungle fever" on the side - and it said 49mhz on the box).
Anybody in the group put a real R/C radio in the Stuart and now have a
49mhz OEM radio to sell?
Nobody near me plays this tank paintball game,
so I'm trying to modify two Stuarts on my own so the boys and I can play
ourselves in the back yard. I didn't realize these Stu radios were so
dadgummed broadbanded that I couldn't change channels on 27mhz - so I'll need
to put one of these Stus on 49mhz. Getting a castoff 49mhz OEM radio
looks like the cheapest solution.
If you've got a castoff 49mhz radio
on hand, pls LMK what you want for
it!
Thanks,
-dd
