That
turret was the only part of the T34 I didn't take pictures or take notes
on! If I recall correctly, a couple of
layers of standard fiberglass tape were used around the sides. In the
front curvy sections several layers of 6oz. cloth were used. The top of
the turret is a piece of 1/4" ply. After it was all said and done I felt
it was a bit flimsy in the flat areas so I glued sections of 1/4" ply on the
inner sides.
Frank was of great
assistance when the T34 turret was gooped up (he did most of the work). He
may have a comment to add.
