None. I assume they were asking about tanks, versus trucks, simply as
another way to move infantry around the field. If a soldier gets hit,
either while standing or riding, the soldier is dead (and must be
carried back to home base by a vehicle at some point). If the vehicle
carrying the soldier gets destroyed, the soldier is dead as well (and
both must return to home base).

Of course, given that tanks are exempt from frontal hits and that even a
first-time battler can hit something 30-50 feet away, there is little
chance that infantry will ever make a significant appearance on the
battlefield. If they do venture out, they will probably be run down
like deer in the middle of the road.

In fact, Fred "The Coward" Simms has become so frustrated with his
overall impotence on the field, that he has failed to suit up for any
battle yet, even though he's been operational since the second battle.

And, for the record, we've used two "infantry" in a number of battles
during various game scenarios. In fact, "The General and The Harlot"
scenario (a modified version of capture the flag) was very popular and
will probably be used again in future battles - neither were armed ...
unless you consider a 36D to be a weapon :-)
