Hello folks,
I'd like to introduce myself to this group.
My name is Erik, I'm a 27 year old male from Norway.
Iv been into the idea of building a large scale "home built" R/C model
for a few years, just thinking about ideas from time to time. Decided
that I wanted a model with tracks and somehow I managed to find this
network of fine tanks builders.
My early thoughts was to mount a paint ball marker on the model and make
it tank-like.
This was in a way a little natural since I do play paint ball myself,
mostly in the forest and then thought of it as a R/C assault wagon.
So when I found this web page I kinda found a solution to most of my
questions about technical problems and is now starting my project.
I plan to build a a Leopard 1 tanks, as used by the Norwegian army, and
is now collecting data about the tank in my preparation process. But
since I have no experience on building large or small scale models I
have decided to start with making a Hanomag K12C Bulldozer approx 1:8
scale as a tryout, it will in many ways be allot like a tanks except for
it has no turret nor weapons.
Maybe it will be approved as a Support Vehicle when it gets done.
