G'day, in terms of using a mig welder to weld amiminum, you will need a few new parts, diffrent gass, diffrent tip, new innner cord. am soon to do the same, will build my tank a7v structuraly out of alloy. will cost a bit for welder parts, but you can rent the parts from certain stores.

All I can find is a three-view and some distance shots. On a slightly related note, anyone know how well a MIG welder can handle welding aluminum? I found a spool of aluminum wire that'll fit my welder but I've never head of using MIG for welding aluminum. Would like to shave some poundage off of the track frame if I could (lol). Thx in advance
