I haven't built a tank yet, but I'm toying with a design for a two-speed 
epicyclic transmission. Looks and sounds complicated, but it's really 
not that bad (if it was good enough for the Model-T, it's good enough 
for me).

I'm also working on a spreadsheet that calculates lots of gearing 
ratios, motor power, and current draw.

Speaking of which... hey Frank, ya'll getting together this Friday?
