Hi Curtis. Yes, people have thought of using a camera, but it has the
disadvantage of not being able to really track a paint ball like the human
eye can. Most find it easier to just aim by eye from behind the tank.
Those little paint balls I've never heard of, but apparently Chris said they
are close proximity. Although I believe that would be a novel idea.
As for Canadian law on that, I don't know of anylaws prohibiting
modifying/creating a paint ball cannon here in Canada, although BC may have
its own laws on that.
Just so you know, I'm 19, and in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. May be on the other
side of the country, but I'll help if you need. I'm sure both Chris and I
can tell you how difficult it is to jump right into this hobby from nothing
at a young age, and expensive.
But the guys on this list are great a helping.

Hi everyone. I'm a 16 year old guy from Kamloops B.C. Canada. My name is
Curtis. I would like to get into making R/C Combat Tanks. I found the R/C
Combat Tank website very helpful. I haven't decided what type of tank I will
make yet. Has any one tried to have a very small video camera on the cannon
of the tanks to see where to aim so you hit your target? I would like to try
something like that. What do you thing of something like that? Does any one
know what the laws are in Canada for buying a paintball gun and take it
apart and only saving the action and make the rest your self, or just making
your own homemade paintball gun? Has anyone tried to us one of those little
air soft BB guns with those new little paintballs for a machine gun? Any
info would be very appreciated very much.
