The jig was clamped to the table at the one end only. This was the pivot point for lowering and raising the piece. I would raise and lower the jig while turning the wheel to hog out the wood. Then you finish up by spinning the piece around while the jig is held down. After cutting all ten wheels I did a finish cut by raising the blade a 1/16" (1mm). Steve
