Ben,

Have you talked to these people yet?

They may have something ready to go for your project.

Else, I might suggest Joe Sommers Hetzer.

It's already a movie star.

Subject: tank for film [TANKS]

Greetings RCTankCombatants!

I have an unusual problem which I hope you may be able to help me with.  In short, I’m directing a dramatic feature film in which a bomb squad robot plays a brief but important role.

I’ve spent (and am continuing to spend) a considerable amount of time communicating with the military, the police, and the manufacturers of real bomb squad robots – but progress is very slow, and I’m not confident anything will come of this.

So I’ve started pursuing alternative options, and a radio controlled tank came to mind as something which might be easily dressed/modified to appear to be a bomb squad robot.

If anyone is interested and in the vicinity of New York City, I’d love to hear from you!

Most appreciatively…
