My axle are 1/2 " with 16" hole . With only 1/8" axle would be weakened too much.

    Do you have any problems with the cotter/hitch pins for the wheels on your SU-100?  Would you recommend using them to keep 3/4" plywood wheels with bronze bushings on a 1/8" axle; or would the axle be weakened severely by drilling holes to put the pins in.
