Marc,

Here in the States you are supposed to use 75mhz or 27mhz for ground vehicles and 72mhz for air.  This is mandated by our FCC.  You will need to check on your local regulations in the Netherlands as to what frequencies are best for you.

To say that air frequencies are never used on ground vehicles wouldn't be true.  If you stay away from established model airparks you could probably get away using an air frequency and not crash anybodies plane.  I know the air guys wont condone this practice due to possible frequency overlap.  Designating specific frequencies for whatever use is a flawed system to begin with anyway.  Whose to say there isn't another air guy a mile down the road from the airpark on the same frequency?

Yes there would be a problem using the air frequency for ground,,, and ground for air... You can use the ground frequencys 27 or 75...   75 has more channels.. so that is your best choice...              this is my 2bits worth..   Garnet

Would it be a problem to use an aircraft frequency, 72 MHz for example?
Or does one need to stay in the lower MHz region?
