Frank,
I'm currently making a tts with suspension. It uses sprockets and pins
through the drive sprockets like the real T-34. The inner cleats of my tts
will have the holes for the teeth molded into them so it's just like making
a normal tts. And because the treadmill belt has virtually no side flex it
should stay right on track (that's the plan anyway). The suspension itself
will be the swing arm style. I'm also planing to make a tts that is not a
"loop" belt i.e you can disconect the ends. My idea should work as with the
suspension version the belt is not under so much tension. I think this would
help in the actual instalation of the track. not to mention repairs and
mantinence.
