I know how you feel when it comes to paintball guns. I live in Australia and 
there pretty expensive/hard to get here to.
Adding suspension is a good idea but with a TTS? You would need to design a 
sprocket driven version. Which would result in you using belts and pullys in 
your transmission anyway. I'm currently designing a sprocket driven version 
for my KV-1. I plan on moulding my inner treads with the holes for the 
sprocket to engage already in them. And they will also be driven by pins in 
the drive sprocket like the real T-34 so they have two ways of turning the 
tracks.
