In a typical two stage 9/1 reduction you have four sprockets (each motor).
the first is on the motor this a ten tooth. the second is a 30 tooth which
is on the first shaft, there is also a ten tooth on the same shaft. Because
they are on the same shaft they spin at the same RPM. that ten tooth drives
a 30 tooth on the final shaft which turns the drive sprocket.
