Arrow and Craftsman make electric brad nailers. These might be an option. Anybody
have any experience with electric brad nailers? Could they set a nail in 1/2" maple?

The GOOP glue would probably hold the pieces in place. You will loose the advantage
of speedy assembly and clamping hundreds of little pieces of wood in place while
keeping them from sliding around will be a challenge.
Amir, if you want to head down to my area (Southern Maryland), your more than
welcome to spend a day at Tyng Labs to assemble your tracks. That goes for anybody
else BTW. Frank has air nailing equipment also. He's having an openshop on January
1st. if interested.
