Now that the big tank is nearly
completed I started thinking about the next project: the 1:6 scale paintball
tank.
My plan is to build a Swedish
S-Tank, the small turretless one, for the following reasons:
It must be cheap (the big one
sucked up nearly all the funds), simple to build and operate, fast, manouverable
and lethal on the battlefield and I simply love the design of the
tank.
And: it has not been built yet in
the paintball scene!
![]() Because I'm a novice on the R/C
front I wondered if a 4 channel transmitter would be ok for this? I have the
Anvilus controller, so in my opinion that needs 2 channels for driving. I need
one channel to elevate the gun and one to fire the marker. Right?
Do I need more channels for any
reason?
Do I need a high torque servo to
pull the trigger (mechanical) of the marker or would a regular servo do the
job?
I have got:
- a 12V 24 Ah sealed lead-acid
battery
- 2 EV Warriors
- the Anvilus
controller
So I guess I need to have to
complete the electrical system:
- a transmitter
- a receiver
- two servo's
- a battery pack for the
receiver
- and ... ???
So many questions but luckily also
many time at hand to spend on the project.
Boy, it sucks to be unemployed in
Holland ... but still I prefer having a steady job.
