Actually it was 10 bearings for $8.95 plus shipping. The vendors eBay store
is
http://stores.ebay.com/VXB-Bearings-Skateboard-and-Slotcar_W0QQsspagenameZl2
QQtZkm. Their website is http:www.vbx.com but they have better pricing
through the eBay store. Shipping was quick.

These are non-precision flanged press fit bearings commonly used in
wheelbarrow and lawnmower wheels. I used them in the transmission of the
T34. They worked OK in that application but they had to be re-lubed from
time to time. I found mine in my local hardware store in the mower repair
section for $2 apiece. When I say hardware store I mean the good old
fashioned kind that has a little bit of everything. You wont find them in
the big box Lowes or Home Depot home centers. I also found a bunch on eBay
a while back for 50 cents each.
