Morgan,
       The Staghoung was used by the 1st Belgian
Brigade during the liberation of Brussels in '44. It
was also used by the Rome police and was also attached
to the Carabinieri Mobile Battalion. Maybe if you
search for info about the Belgian unit you might find
some French reference. Then again,we are discussing
the French. Oops sorry  or pardonez-moi.
