Heh -- nice one. I almost picked up an old Mauser (Czeck manufacture,
IIRC) at a show a couple months back, didn't, probably should have tho.
Disney artists did a lot of "nose art" in WWII, and quite a few
propoganda cartoons (http://sqrville.org/article.php?story=250).
Adolph Galland (Commanding General of Luftwaffe fighters, in addition to
being one of the highest scoring aces of all time) had a Mickey Mouse
with pistols on the side of his personal aircraft... unlicensed, of
course. :-)
