The original was shaped from cardboard and then coated with epoxy. That
didn't survive being run over, so the second one was cut out from a
solid piece of MDF on the lathe and then glassed over. Heavier, but
much more durable. A cardboard muzzle that is glassed over will be
lighter and should be sturdy enough.
