Hmmm
I am in the UK !
Have made a start http://www.rctankcombat.com/tanks/T027/ ?
Not been any where near a CAD program ! I doubt if any of the first dozen
tanks built did either !
I got a drawing in a picture format put it into a poster print program
scaled it up to the size I wanted [ 1/6 ] and printed it out.
Build a mock up from the drawing from corrugated card , iron out all the
build problems at this stage and copy in wood [ or your preferred building
material ]
Some people use CAD but to be honest the drawing is of no use to a accuracy
of 1/100 of a inch if your drive motors then won't fit , and all the time
spent slaving over the CAD could be better spent cutting wood !
Just my 2 pence worth.
